WordPress Maintenance News – Care Plans

I am trying to keep consistent when keeping you all informed as to the status of your Care Plans. This is my second video and it is getting a little easier. The hardest part is the editing as I can’t help myself from constantly making improvements.

So this video I go over the improvements we’ve made to your accounts, adding SSL, and announcing that we are kicking off a Houston WordCamp.

It’s only 8 minutes but below the video is a synopsis.

Web Hosting Upgrades – Speed, Baby!

As I mentioned in my last newsletter, our web servers were hit pretty hard with Brute Force Attacks. After some updates, improved security changes, and creating a better stop gap, it improved drastically.

Since then, we’ve also made improvements to the web server itself. Each have been upgraded from 4MB of RAM to 8MB of RAM, doubling it’s speed. In addition, we are adding more CPU power. I am already seeing a huge difference website speed.

Payment Links Have Changed

We have moved our subscription accounts to a new URL. If you need to update your credit card on file with us or view past orders, please visit: https://store.globalspex.com/my-account.

Encryption & SSL Status

We slowly going through each of website that we manage and adding SSL Encryption. We are about 80% complete. If you are on our Managed Plan, we are adding this automatically. If you are on our Tech plan, we’ll be reaching out to you for approval as this would require a setup fee.
