Plugin Updates

We'll take care of all of the WordPress core and plugin updates. And we'll use visual regression testing to make sure your website wasn't negatively impacted by any of the updates.

Your Support Team

Our WordPress website professionals are here to help with your website content. Whether that's uploading images, adding a new page, or anything in between, we can take care of it.

Offsite Backups

Don't be caught without a backup. Depending on your package level we'll backup your website monthly or daily. If you have an e-commerce website we'll update every 12 hours.

Visual Checks

Plugin and core updates are notorious for not playing nicely with each other or breaking websites. Our visual check process let's us look at websites and alerts our team if any discrepancies are found.

Monitor Security

This is fundamental. There are always bad actors looking for vulnerabilities. We are looking for those holes to protect your website against malware and malicious attacks. We'll keep your website safe and if we find anything, we'll remove it.


So you know what is happing with your website, we'll provide monthly reports. This is for you as well as for us so you know the value of your monthly investment.

Premium Hosting

Don't leave your website to cheap hosting. Our hosting allows for only 50-60 websites while the larger, well-known websites are part of a thousand others. Let's not talk about your support level.

Do you need help updating your website, maybe adding a new gallery or a blog? Maybe a new feature? We can make changes for you in probably half the time it would take you to do it.

If you'd like to take your website to the next level and start selling your products and services online, we can add WooCommerce to your WordPress website. We can optimize your current site or build you a completely new one from scratch all with customized solutions unique to your goals.

WooCommerce is an E-commerce platform with a lot of potential. Provided you know how to make the most of it. 

We support WooCommerce that includes advanced functionality require, at a minimum our Executive plan as well as our E-commerce Add-On which includes 1 hour of custom webmaster support in the additional fee to make it fair.

WordPress Maintenance Frequently Asked Questions

What WordPress maintenance options do you offer?

We have 3 options. Each depends on your website and your business needs. How often do you update your website? How many visitors do you have in a given month? Are you selling products and services?

How can I request support

To request support, you need to send an email to [email protected]. Your email will generate a ticket within our support system, and our customer care manager will respond with status updates daily until your request is resolved.

We put together some steps on the best and most efficient methods to request website support.

How long does it take to complete the changes?

It depends on the number of change requests and the type of change. It may also depend on how busy we are on that given day. Our goal is 24-48 business hours upon receiving the change requests. You'll get a unique ticket number so you can track communication and status. You'll always know where you are in the process of your change.

What add-on services do you offer for my website?

We offer an arrange of digital marketing services that can help augment your website's success, from optimizing your website to getting your company on Google's first page. There is no one answer or one way to do this, so we take a bigger picture and top-down approach before we begin.

What things won't you do?

Major design changes or large web feature changes are not covered under the Care Plans. If you want large-scale changes to your site, please contact me at [email protected], and we can discuss your requirements.

Some specific examples:

Google Search Console: If there is an error from Google Search Console, you can forward this to us. We'll do our best to check if it is something we can fix in under 5 minutes. Usually, these errors are temporary if it is a major search engine optimization issue that falls outside the care plan purview.

SEO: If you are not part of our SEO Package, we cannot be responsible for how your website performs organically on Search Engines. SEO is a complicated process and requires regular content, research, and analysis. If you are interested in growing your reach organically, please visit our SEO page.

Broken Links: Within your monthly report will include a broken links report. If they are internal links that are broken, we will fix them. If they are external, you will need to provide the correct link, but we will fix it as part of your care plan. This does not apply to Host-Only packages.

I have an e-commerce store, can you manage it?

We excel at managing WooCommerce stores. I'd say expert level but taking care of a live store takes additional resources and care.

We only support WooCommerce if you are on the Executive Plan or higher plus the Ecommerce Add-On which includes 1 hour of custom webmaster support in the additional fee to make it fair. We charge an additional $99/month to manage website WooCommerce stores.

What happens if my WordPress website goes down, is hacked, breaks, etc?

Our client plans' whole purpose is preventative care, so we hope to prevent anything from happening. However, if your website gets rolled into the ER, we will be there right by its side, communicating with the web hosting on your behalf. We cannot promise your website will not be hacked but can promise we will do everything in our power to prevent it and assist in the restoration and cleanup of the website with one of our backups.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan ?

Yes, no problem. If you find that the Care Plan you are on is not suitable for your business, contact us at [email protected], and we will adjust your plan and subscription for the next month.

If you have the WooCommerce addon, then the Executive plan is the lowest option you can downgrade. We do not offer WooCommerce website for Tech plans.

Can I cancel anytime?

After your first six months, your plan reverts to month-to-month. We are all about a relationship with you and your website, so we would hate to see you go, but we know financial needs weigh on many decisions and don’t want to lock anyone in. 

To cancel your care plan, we require 30 days' advance notice. You'll need to request a formal cancellation.

If you desire to migrate your website to another web host, we will at your discretion (1) provide you with an administrator login for your WordPress site so a backup can be performed and migrated to the new location, (2) provide you a backup created using an industry-standard WordPress backup system, or (3) perform the website migration for you at our current hourly rate.

Does the monthly time rollover?

Like a lawyer’s retainer, the monthly time is there for you every month to reserve your place in our queue and our resources. Therefore it does not rollover. You can take comfort that what you will request within your time (depending on your plan) and will be addressed by our team with priority attention.

How do consulting calls work?

Email is our best form of communication since it yields the fastest response. However, we know that getting on the phone or a video call can help breakthrough ideas. These consulting calls are reserved for our Webmaster clients. They help focus the trajectory of the website for growth and improvements.

What if I need more hours?

If you have a task that requires more than your dedicated monthly time, we will submit a quote for you to approve separately from your plan. However, many times we will evaluate requests that exceed your time on a case by case basis, and with approval, work past the time and bill for time exceeded at a discounted Care Plan rate of $100/hr. Our normal hourly rate is $125/hour.

My website was not build by GlobalSpex, can I still be on a client plan?

Although these plans are typically for websites we build or re-design, we welcome clients looking for a long term relationship with a dedicated webmaster.

We first like to do a Website Audit and Review to become familiar with the website, how it was built, and any potential issues that can arise. We will perform all the "Website Updates and Monitoring" tasks with the evaluation and make a full backup. Most importantly, we will make a list of issues to fix and suggestions for improvement needed to proceed with the website on a monthly plan. Based on your type of website, this Website Evaluation is a fixed 4-hour fee.

If my site gets hacked, am I covered?

On the Tech, Executive, and Partner packages, we offer free hack repair. On all packages, though, we will perform regular scanning of your site to identify if a possible vulnerability is present and in the event your site does actually get hacked.

Note: Many cheaper hosts do not provide server-side protection for your web applications, such as WordPress, and expect you to use bloated security plugins. JUCRA Digital provides hosting, which includes server-side protection in the form of  Cloud Linux OS and Imunify360, so if you need a host with a good security level, please consider using us.

How many sites can I have under my subscription?

Each package is for one standalone, standard WordPress website.

What does private coaching include?

Partner customers receive a 1-hour private coaching call every month to review ways to improve their website or their business marketing and help solve those through WordPress or 3rd party tools.

Which premium plugins do I have access to?

With GlobalSpex, you will be granted access to the following premium plugins using our license keys:

  • Beaver Builder Pro
  • Gravity Forms
  • Gravity PDF
  • Advanced Custom Fields
  • File Renaming on upload
  • SEOPress Pro
  • ShortPixel Automatic Image Compressions
  • WPRocket Pro

Usually, some of these licenses attract a hefty monthly/annual fee, so as you can see, being a managed WordPress client, you will save money.

What is the difference between Regular Maintenance and Webmaster Support?

Included in our support contract, we offer two types of maintenance bundled in the packages.

1. Regular Maintenance

Regular Maintenance would include things such as: updating plugins, updating WordPress core, fixing any hack issues, doing backups, monitoring site speed, etc. This type of maintenance is performed without any intervention from you. On average, we will spend an unmonitored amount of time; usually, this is about 5-10 hours per month performing these regular maintenance tasks.

2. Webmaster Support

Webmaster Support would include custom requests from you such as: adding google analytics, adding a page to your site, liaising with third-party providers, editing photos, etc. Webmaster support is limited to the hours listed on your care plan package, ranging from 1/2 hour to 8 hours per month. Host-Only packages do not include Webmaster Support

If you need more hours, you can access a special discounted rate of $100 an hour for additional time.

What happens if my website goes down, is hacked, breaks, etc?

In the very unlikely event your website goes down and it’s hosted with us, we will implement a backup restoration and get your site up and running again as quickly as possible.

If your website is not hosted with us, this falls outside of the Care Plan and we would need to collaborate with your hosting company to help resolve the issue. This will be charged at the discounted rate of $100 per hour.

What do you need in order to set up support on my site?

We need your login and password to the website so that we can conduct a WordPress website audit. This audit service would be charged at $350. Once the audit is complete, we can discuss which Care Plan is best suited for your business.

Do you offer discounts for multiple websites?

If you have more than one website and you are on the Partner Care Plan or higher, you can add an additional website to your Website Care Plan for $95/month and share your plan’s support time between your sites. This option is not available on Tech, Executive, or Legacy care plans.
