    It is best practice to use an email that is not the same as the domain name you bought. If your domain expires, you won’t be able to access your email and therefore can’t get a password reset.

    A manager or owner should own the domain. Too often, we’ve struggled to access a domain name purchased by an employee who no longer works at the company.

    Don’t renew for ten years
