How to Delete A Google Review

It happens, sometimes you might review the wrong business. But, all is not lost! It is possible to delete a review so you can start over. Google doesn’t make it easy to find so I thought I’d give everyone a short tutorial.

1. Go to Google.com and login with the account you used to login.

google login

2. Find the company you reviewed and click the ‘Google reviews’ link.

google company and login

3. Click your name with your review.

google and click name

4. Click the 3 Dot Menu

google choose menu

5. Now click ‘Delete.’

google delete review

and Presto!

See.. not too bad, right?

Unfortunately there is no way you can remove them. but you can do a research about contacting google my business moderators if you feel that the review is abusive.

You are referring to reviews made by your customers. This is how to delete a review you have left for someone else.

You cannot delete the comment left by someone on your website. You must report to google if the comment is abusive or negative in any way. Later google will check the flagged comment and if the comment has conflicts with the Google’s policy then google will take down the comment or else they will just ignore it.

Correct. You cannot remove a review left by someone else on Google platform. You can, however, if it’s on your own website which I don’t think you meant that. You can flag them, https://support.google.com/business/answer/4596773?hl=en, as well, but you are right, it’s at their discretion if it gets removed. To help with bad reviews from others, I would recommend either starting over (depending on the number of reviews you have) or pushing down the bad with a stream of legitimate better reviews.
